Welcome to this week’s Smackdown!

Triple H is introduced to the ring. Triple H welcomes us to the show. Hunter speaks of the backstage rumors and buzz about favoritism and abuse of power. Triple H says it is amazing that Superstars are unable to accept their own failures, and would rather blame management. Hunter says he accepts the burden, and does what is best for business. Triple H speaks of Raw’s history making 11-on-3 Handicap Elimination Match, which he said was best for business. A highlight of the match is shown. Hunter says any angst was supposed to be settled in the ring. The Miz interrupts.
Miz asks if he really thinks he was fair and impartial. Triple H says Miz is an example of what he was talking about. A Superstar who fails and blames others. Hunter speaks of the opportunity of stepping in the ring with Randy Orton, and losing. A highlight of his beatdown by Orton is shown. Hunter asks Miz is that was his fault also. Hunter asks how that is on him, because it is his job to prevent someone from hurting themselves. Hunter says he protected Miz from Orton, so gave him a platform on Miz TV with the most controversial guest. A highlight from the knockout was shown. Miz says it was a set up. Triple H then says Stephanie was justified, considering he called her a witch. Miz says he should have switched it to a “b” instead. Hunter says he gets that tempers run hot, and says Stephanie regrets what she did. Hunter says he will give him another opportunity against Randy Orton. Hunter says he could get in his jet and pick his parents up to watch his match. Hunter tells him to go get ‘em.

R-Truth is in the ring. Alberto Del Rio makes his way to the ring.

World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. R-Truth

Del Rio puts Truth in the corner, throwing fists. Truth reverses, throwing fists of his own. Del Rio gets out with a kick to the gut. Del Rio whips Truth into the opposite corner, and runs at him. Truth moves, as Del Rio is put shoulder first into the post. Truth connects with a Single Legged Dropkick, followed by a Suplex Stunner. Pin, but a kick out. Truth goes for Scissor Kick, but Del Rio moves. Truth misses with a Stinger Splash in the corner, as he falls to the mat. Alberto follows with a Superkick to a kneeling Truth for the win.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio via pinfall

Del Rio locks in the Cross Armbreaker, as Rob Van Dam runs to the ring. Ricardo throws him a chair, as Van Dam gets it in the gut. Van Dam then skateboards the chair into his face.

Backstage, Vickie Guerrero and Triple H make Del Rio and Van Dam at Battleground a Hardcore match.

Backstage, the Primetime Players teach some tech guys how to dance.

Real Americans are in the ring, as Zeb Colter only those who are Real Americans can chant. Primetime Players make their way to the ring.

Primetime Players vs. Real Americans

Jack and Titus lock up, as Swagger takes Titus into the corner. Swagger is taken out with a shoulder, as he kicks Cesaro away. Titus goes to tackle Swagger in the corner, but Jack moves. Swagger takes Titus into the corner, and throws fists. Cesaro is tagged, as he does a Giant Swing for 22 rotations. Titus falls over, as Cesaro pins. Kicks out. Titus goes for a slam, but is still dizzy. Darren is tagged, as he cleans house. Young connects with a Belly-to-belly, followed by a Northern Lights from the corner. Pin, but a kick out. Cesaro connects with an Uranage. Pin, but a kick out. While the ref is distracted by Swagger, Darren has a pin. Cesaro makes the tag, while is hit with the Gutbuster. Swagger gets in the ring and locks in the Patriot Lock for the win.

Winners: Real Americans via submission

Rowan and Harper beat up Ryder before the match.

Bray Wyatt vs. Zack Ryder

Wyatt pushes Ryder into the corner, and follows with a huge takedown. Ryder is elbowed in the head, and locked in a Headlock. Wyatt whips Ryder, but is taken down with a Facebuster. Ryder follows with a Corner Elbow and a Broski Boot. Pin, but a kick out. Ryder goes for a Rough Ryder, but it is reversed into a Sister Abigail.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring. Dolph makes his way to the ring, with Kofi Kingston and RVD.

United States Championship Match: Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

They lock up, as Ambrose throws fists in the corner. Ambrose drags Ziggler’s eyes on the ropes. Ziggler is whipped, but is taken out by a Larait. Ambrose follows with a Twist Elbow. Pin, but a kick out. Ziggler elbows Dean, following with a Stinger Splash. Ziggler goes for a Fameasser, but Ambrose moves. Ziggler follows with a Dropkick. Ziggler takes Dean to the floor, as a brawl ensues.

Winner: N/A

Triple H comes out, and makes it a 6 Man Tag.

Rob connects with a Standing Moonsault to Rollins. Pin, but a kick off. Rob takes Rollins down, and connects with Rolling Thunder. Pin, but a kick out. Dean is tagged, as he locks in an Arm Bar. Dam gets out, flipping over Ambrose. RVD then connects with a Spinning Heel Kick. Ziggler is tagged, as he beats up Dean. Rollins distracts the ref, as Dean connects with a Pendulum Spinebuster. Pin, but a kick out. Roman is tagged, as he locks in a Headlock. Roman pushes Dolph down, while he Deadlifts him up into a Powerslam. Ziggler connects with a Jumping DDT. Rollins is tagged, as he connects with a Front Facelock. Rollins attacks Van Dam, but Ziggler tags Kofi. Dean is tagged, as Kingston cleans house. Ambrose is taken out with a Dropkick and Superman Punch. Kingston connects with a Boom Drop. Kingston goes for Trouble in Paradise, but is pushed into the corner. Kingston jumps from the corner with a Crossbody. Pin, but a kick out. ZIggler connects with a Fameasser to Seth, but is hit with a Spear by Reigns. RVD connects with a Diving Kick to Roman, as he Moonsaults onto Reigns to the floor. Kingston takes out Reigns in the ring with a Trouble In Paradise. Dean rolls up Kingston, but Kofi reverses. Rollins connects with the Blackout, while Dean pins for the win.

Backstage, Renee Young interviews Big Show. Show speaks of the decisions that he has made, saying he can’t sleep and is called out. Show says he is a wreck, but does what he must for his family. Triple H comes up saying if the job is too difficult for Show, he should just leave. Hunter says he can find him another job as a doorman or paper boy. Hunter says giants can’t really find jobs that eaisly. Show gets in Triple H’s face with a fist, while he mocks Show for crying. Show is told he will do nothing, as he yells in frustration.

Cameron, with Naomi, makes her way to the ring. AJ makes her way to the ring, with Tamina.

WWE Diva’s Champion AJ Lee w/ Tamina vs. Cameron w/ Naomi

AJ starts off with an attack in the corner, with kicks. AJ connects with a Snapmare, and locks in a Cravate. Cameron stands out, but is thrown into the mat. Lee whips Cameron into the corner, and dives. Cameron moves, as AJ is rolled up. Pin, but a kick out. AJ is taken out with a Dropkick. Cameron does a Split Leg Drop onto AJ. Pin, but a kick out. Cameron comes out of the corner with a Crossbody. Pin, but a kick out. AJ throws Cameron to the floor. Lee drags her back in the ring. Naomi tries to get involved, as Tamina connects with a Clothesline. AJ is rolled up, but reverses into a Shining Wizard for the win.

Paul Heyman makes his way to the ramp. A highlight of Night of Champions is shown. Heyman says everyone is disappointing him. Heyman wonders why they are so shocked that he one. Heyman says everytime Punk tried to take him out, he will lose. Heyman says Raw for example, while in Chicago, Punk was beaten down. Punk knew it was a trap, yet tried to fight him anyone, and so he fell. A highlight of the trap on Raw is shown. Heyman say he doesn’t want to take all the credit, as he thanks Curtis Axel, Ryback and the people in attendance. Heyman says the people’s worship of Punk is what will drive him to failure. Heyman says CM Punk will face Ryback at Battleground, but will lose. Heyman says history will repeat itself, as Punk looks up to the Best in the World Paul Heyman.

Heath Slater is in the ring, with 3MB. Santino Marella makes his way to the ring, with Khali and Hornswoggle.

Slater goes for a kick, but Marella catches it. Santino tries a kick, but Slater catches it. Slater spins into a fist. Pin, but a kick out. Santino trades fists, as he does a Hip Toss. Santino goes a Saluting Headbutt, but is kneed in the gut. Pin, but a kick out. Slater goes top rope, but is tripped up. Santino grabs the Cobra, as Jinder plays a flute on the apron. Khali grabs one also, as Jinder and Mahal play it on the apron. Drew goes after Khali, but is chopped. Jinder continues, as the Cobra goes after Santino. Hornswoggle trips Jinder and breaks the flute. Slater connects with a kick. Khali continues with the flute, as Santino connects with the Cobra.

Miz starts of with fists to Orton. Miz is thrown into the corner, but Miz fights back. Orton kicks an oncoming Miz, following with fists. Miz fights Orton to the ropes, Clotheslining him to the floor. Miz follows, but is kicked. Miz whips Orton into the steel post, head first. Orton is whipped into the barricade and thrown back into the ring. Miz connecting with a running kick to Orton. Miz goes for his corner Larait, but Orton moves.Miz lands on his shoulder, as the ref and doctor check on him. Orton drags him away, connects with a Rope Hung DDT.Orton pushes the ref away, as he throws fists. Orton is DQ’d

Winner: The Miz via disqualification

Triple H comes out, saying the match will be restarted in pinfall or submission only.

Orton throws Miz over the announce table, then throwing him into the steel steps. Orton whips him into the barricade, and connects with a Larait. Miz is thrown over the barricade but fights back with a chair. Orton is hit across the back with the chair. Miz goes for it again, but kicks it into Miz’s face. Orton connects with a DDT from the barricade. Orton drags him into the ring and connects with an RKO. Orton pins for the win.
