Kofi Kingston makes his way to the ring to start us off this week. Miz is back with Josh Mathews on commentary. Antonio Cesaro enters with Zeb Colter. Cesaro is upset because a returning Santino Marella beat him on Raw.
Kofi Kingston vs. Antonio Cesaro
Cesaro hits a dropkick and stomps on Kofi. Shoulderbock and a quick cover doesn’t stop Kingston. Headlock is locked in by Antonio. Kofi hits a big elbow for a one. Cesaro trips Kingston into the turnbuckle. Once they are back up, Cesaro works on Kofi in the corner, until Kofi counters with a kick. Cesaro uses his head and shoulders to flip Kofi back into the ring from the apron. Cesaro throws Kingston into the corner, Kofi counters with a kick. They go outside the ring where Kofi hops over the steps, and runs back to flip on Cesaro! Back in the ring, Cesaro gets away from Kofi to avoid a pin. Gutwrench from Cesaro, followed by another one, two. Kofi gets in some kicks and punches until Cesaro throws him out of the ring.
Commercials
After the break, Cesaro has a rear chinlock in place. Kofi with a couple clotheslines and a dropkick. Boom drop connects, Kofi sets up for Trouble in Paradise. Cesaro ducks, Kofi rolls him up for a two. Crossbody from Kingston, two. Cesaro throws Kofi up, Kingston turns it around, but Cesaro throws him up for a big uppercut, two. Another cover, kickout. Antonio tries to get Kofi up, and Kofi tries for a roll-up but it is reversed. Cesaro puts Kofi up, and he reverses it to the SOS, nearfall. They get back up, Cesaro catches Kofi’s TIP, and swings Kingston around for over thirty seconds. Big clothesline from Cesaro, kickout. Kofi reverses the Neutralizer into a roll-up. Kofi nails Trouble in Paradise for the three.

NOC Kickoff Match: Prime Time Players, 3MB, The Uso’s, Tons of Funk, and The Real Americans will all participate it a #1 Contender’s Tag Team Turmoil match.
We get a video package. Footage is shown of Lesnar vs. Punk at SummerSlam, where Lesnar wins. Heyman betrayed Punk at MITB. Punk is now acting like a sad, pathetic loser. Punk says he’s p*ssed off. Punk beat Axel, and then attacked Paul. Monday, Heyman “injured” his knee Monday on Raw. Then they go to where Heyman brutalized Punk with a kendo stick. This Sunday, CM Punk will face Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman in a Handicap Elimination match.
Brodus Clay and Tensai make their way to the commentary booth for the next tag team match. The Prime Time Players are going to be in action against two members of 3MB.
Prime Time Players vs. Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal
Titus and Mahal start. Mahal applies a headlock, but is dropped on his back. Tag to Slater. Slater gets in some punches before being elbowed. Heath tags Jinder back in. Titus throws Mahal into their corner and blows his whistle while stomping on him. Young gets in, Slater tagged. Headlock on Darren. Young hits a big punch on Slater, cover and kickout. Darren locks in a headlock, works on the left arm. O’Neil tagged in, Titus drops Young onto Slater. They take out Mahal as they go to commercial.

Back from break, O’Neil drops Mahal to the mat, and tags Young. Titus throws Darren into Mahal. Young hits a suplex, two. On the turnbuckle, Darren hits a few punches before Jinder rolls out. Slater distracts, which allows Jinder to hit a big knee for a two. Slater locks in a headlock. Darren rolls Slater up, close two. Young throws Heath over his shoulders. Jinder is back in throwing several punches. Cover, two. Mahal connects with three knee drops, tag to Heath. Slater covers, two. Young connects with a suplex, tags in O’Neil. Titus hits a shoulderblock, and throws Jinder over his shoulders. Titus covers, Slater breaks it up. heath is shoved off the apron, Mahal rolls Titus up. Mahal turns around into Clash of the Titus for the victory.

Josh and Miz discuss the Triple H dictatorship. At SummerSlam, Bryan won the WWE Title, and then Hunter screwed him. Orton is champ. It was to ensure the future of the WWE, it was best for business. Bryan isn’t an A player. Booker T tried to give Daniel some advice. Daniel says it isn’t about the money, it’s about the title. Triple H fired Cody Rhodes. Bryan beat Dean Ambrose on Raw, and Orton attacked. Triple H ordered Big Show to knock Bryan out, but Bryan knees Orton and celebrates with the WWE Championship. Sunday, Daniel Bryan will get his rematch for the WWE Title against Randy Orton.
On SmackDown: Edge returns with Cutting Edge. His guests, WWE Champion Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan.
R-Truth makes his way to the ring rapping. After commercial, Big E Langston enters.
R-Truth vs. Big E Langston
R-Truth applies a headlock, Big E gets out and hits a shoulderblock. Truth connects with a dropkick, Big E rolls out of the ring. R-Truth jumps out onto Langston. Back in the ring, Langston drops Truth onto his knee three times, followed by a big splash for a two. Abdominal stretch from Big E weakens R-Truth. Big E connects with the belly-to-belly slam for a two. Truth hits a heel kick, and trips Big E. DDT, cover and kickout. He attempts for the scissors kick, and Langston switches it around. Langston hits the Big Ending and it’s over.

Tonight's RAW opens up with WWE Hall of Famer Edge making his way out to a huge pop from the Toronto crowd. Michael Cole welcomes us to RAW as Edge makes his way out.
Edge says every time he comes out, fans remind him of why this is home. He welcomes us to The Cutting Edge. Edge says Triple H requested he be here tonight because it would be good for business. Fans boo Triple H. Edge says Triple H thought it would be good if he had a reunion tonight. Not a reunion with his best friend Christian, but a reunion with Randy Orton, his former partner in Rated RKO. Edge says Orton has nothing interesting to say and says it's like watching paint dry. Edge says Orton is just Triple H's lackey now. Edge has decided Orton won't be his guest on The Cutting Edge tonight. Fans start chanting "yes" now. Edge says he's going to have a guest that's good for business. Edge brings out Daniel Bryan to a big pop.
We see footage from last week where Big Show was forced to knock Bryan out. Bryan says no matter what they keep doing to him, he will beat Orton for the WWE Title at Night of Champions. Edge says Bryan deserves a fair shot in beating Orton. Edge asks if Bryan thinks he can beat Orton. Bryan does. Edge goes on but Orton's music interrupts and out he comes to the stage.
Orton comes out and rips Canada. He pokes fun at Edge for his broken neck. Edge fires back and calls Orton spineless. Edge takes a shot at Triple H. Triple H's music hits and out he comes to the stage beside Orton. Edge says he's not employed by WWE so he doesn't have to bite his tongue. Edge says Triple H doesn't know a damn thing about finding talent. He says Triple H didn't think Edge, Chris Jericho or John Cena could make it, now he doesn't think Bryan can make it. Triple H says it's good to see Edge and plugs Haven on Syfy. Triple H says he may have been wrong about talent over the years but he's also been right a lot. He was wrong about Cena and Jericho. Time will tell with Bryan, he says. Triple H says there was one guy he was right about when he said he would be a failure - Edge. Triple H says we can pretend, because we're in Canada, that Edge is a star and a legend but the reality is, Edge was a failure. Triple H says Edge never drew a dime. Triple H is going to give Bryan the chance to prove him wrong tonight. Triple H announces Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose for tonight. Since The Shield will be in Ambrose's corner, Triple H is going to let Bryan have someone in his corner - Big Show. Triple H says he's not a bad guy and everyone should learn to get along with him. Triple H says he's not a dictator. An "asshole" chant breaks out. Edge says he didn't have to marry into success, he earned his Hall of Fame ring. Edge says he isn't a dictator, he's just a dick. Triple H rips on Edge's injured neck some more. Triple H says if he can't hurt Edge, maybe he can hurt the ones he loves. The Shield come out and they're dragging Christian. They drop him on the ramp and Edge runs up to check on him as Orton, Triple H and The Shield head to the back. Edge calls for some help for Christian. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and The Shield gets in between Edge and Triple H & Stephanie McMahon backstage. Edge wishes WWE doctors would clear him so he can go at it with Triple H. Triple H stands with The Shield and yells at Edge for walking into his city and doing what he's done. Triple H tells him to leave but Edge doesn't move. Triple H threatens to have The Shield escort him out. Edge turns and walks out.
Kofi Kingston vs. Curtis Axel
We go to the ring and Kofi Kingston waits. We see footage from SmackDown where Kofi pinned Curtis Axel in a non-title match. Out comes Axel with Paul Heyman for another non-title match.
The match starts and they go at it. Axel takes control and keeps Kofi grounded. Kofi works on making a comeback and dropkicks Axel. Axel runs into boots in the corner. Kofi nails SOS but Axel kicks out at 2. We see Heyman looking stressed out at ringside. Apparently he hasn't shaved in a while. They run around the ring, then back in and Axel kicks Kofi in the face. Axel stomps away on Kofi. Axel unloads with knees to the back in the corner and is disqualified for not breaking when the referee told him to.
Winner by DQ: Kofi Kingston
After the match, Heyman comes in the ring to calm Axel down. He says this can't happen at Night of Champions. Fans chant for CM Punk. Axel says it won't happen and goes back to work on Kofi. Kofi fights him off and nails a Trouble In Paradise. Heyman just looks down at Axel as Kofi celebrates up the ramp.
The announcers talk about Cody Rhodes getting fired last week. They hype Goldust vs. Randy Orton for later tonight. If Goldust wins, Cody can get his job back. We cut to a video looking back at Goldust's WWE career.
Big Show is backstage looking sad. Booker T walks in. Booker knows what happened last week was bad and knows Show is going to take it out on everyone tonight. Show says he wants to bad. Booker brings up how Cody Rhodes was fired for speaking his mind. Booker talks about fans getting on Show, calling him a sellout. Booker says he would have done the same thing last week. Booker says the people are going to want Show to be a hero but Show needs to think about his daughter and his family. Booker tells Show to not let his pride make a mistake he can't take back. Show says pride is about all he has left. Booker tells him to be a professional out there and Show walks off.
We get a promo video for The Wyatt Family.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Bray Wyatt
Back from the break and Dolph Ziggler is waiting in the ring. He has to prove himself to Triple H again. The lights go out, come back on and out comes Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper with the lantern. Bray heads to the ring after getting up from his rocking chair.
Wyatt takes control early on and beats Ziggler down while talking trash. Wyatt with a big slam. He hangs upside down in the corner and laughs. Ziggler catches him with a dropkick. Rowan interferes and Wyatt runs over Ziggler in the middle of the ring. We go to commercial.

Ziggler drops a big elbow for a 1 count. Ziggler counters again and nails the big leg drop for a 2 count. Ziggler fights Rowan and Harper off the apron but Wyatt comes back. Wyatt nails Sister Abigail for the win.

We come back to the ring and Curtis Axel is helping Paul Heyman out to the ring. Heyman is walking with crutches and they have a doctor with them.
Heyman comes out and says he's not a supporter of socialized medicine and doesn't believe in the Canadian healthcare system, which is why he brings his personal doctor with him when he travels to Canada. He introduces his doctor from New York City. Heyman says he tore either his meniscus or his ACL. A proper MRI in the United States will tell more. Heyman withdraws himself from competition at Night of Champions. Heyman says he's been looking forward to putting Punk out of his misery but he's an injured man now. Heyman says he will go back home and receive proper medical care. Heyman promises he will be back. He drops the mic and goes to walk off but out comes RAW General Manager Brad Maddox and Dr. Sampson. Maddox reminds Heyman they have a full medical staff to assist Heyman. Maddox says the only way to be removed from the match is to be evaluated by WWE doctors. Dr. Sampson wants Heyman to sit in a chair so he can examine the knee. Fans chant "sit" and Heyman is helped into the chair by Axel and the other doctor.
A "this is awkward" chant breaks out as Dr. Sampson looks at Heyman's knee. Heyman rants about the doctor being careful. Fans start chanting for CM Punk as the examination continues. Sampson talks about what's not wrong with Heyman and says his clinical opinion is that Heyman is fine. Heyman is upset. He says Maddox is making a very big mistake. CM Punk's music hits and out he comes to a big pop. Punk runs down winth a kendo stick and hits Heyman's doctor first. Punk with kendo stick shots for Axel. Heyman runs away, bad knee and all, through the crowd. Fans chant for Punk as he poses on the turnbuckle with the kendo stick. Punk goes to let the fake doctor leave the ring but unloads on him with more kendo stick shots. Punk's music hits as we go to replays.

Layla, Alicia Fox and Aksana vs. Natalya, Brie Bella and Naomi
WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee is out on commentary for this one. The Total Divas are also at ringside. Typical back and forth Divas tag match. Aksana accidentally splashes Alicia when Natalya moves. Natalya dumps her to the floor and clotheslines Alicia. Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter and gets the win.
Winners: Natalya, Brie Bella and Naomi
After the match, AJ taunts her Night of Champions opponents from the floor.

R-Truth vs. Alberto Del Rio
Back from the break and R-Truth is rapping his way to the ring. Out next comes World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio for a non-title match. We see a side video from earlier where Rob Van Dam says he will be crowned World Heavyweight Champion on Sunday.
Back and forth to start the match. Truth ends up sending Del Rio to the floor with a clothesline. Truth leaps out over the top rope and takes Del Rio down on the floor. They come back in and Del Rio hits a big kick to the head, sending Truth from the apron back to the floor. Del Rio slams Truth's head into the apron. Del Rio brings it back in the ring with a headlock. More back and forth action. Fans chant for RVD. Truth makes a comeback and drops Del Rio on his face. Truth with a 2 count. Now fans are chanting for The Undertaker. They've also chanted for the announcers during this match. Del Rio turns it around and nails the superkick. Del Rio with the cross armbreaker for the win.

Back from commercial and it's announced a Tag Team Turmoil Match to crown new #1 contenders will take place at Night of Champions with 3MB, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro, The Usos, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil plus Tensai and Brodus Clay.
Santino Marella vs. Antonio Cesaro
Back from the break and out comes Zeb Colter, Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger. Colter cuts a promo like usual. Out comes the returning Santino Marella. Good back and forth match with Cesaro spinning Santino around for maybe two minutes. The crowd chanted "holy shit" at the spot. Santino gets the win after having the Cobra countered and making a comeback.
Winner: Santino Marella

Damien Sandow vs. The Miz
Back from the break and Damien Sandow is in the ring with his briefcase. He says he's our uncrowned champion of the world. The music interrupts and out comes The Miz.
The match ends when Fandango's music hits. He comes out with Summer Rae, distracts The Miz, allowing Sandow to get the win.

Renee Young is backstage with Goldust. He says it's no secret he's been the screw-up of the family. He's messed up all his chances here but Cody getting fired is ridiculous. He says Triple H throwing his weight around and embarrassing the Rhodes family is not cool. Goldust says after tonight, Orton will never forget the name of... Triple H appears and cuts him off. Triple H asks him how he's been doing. Triple H talks about the pressure of the match and wishes Goldust good luck. Back to commercial.
Randy Orton vs. Goldust
Out first comes WWE Champion Randy Orton. Goldust is out next to a nice pop. Back and forth to start. Goldust turns it around and sends Orton to the floor. A "you still got it" chant breaks out. Orton comes back in and misses a dropkick. Goldust with a 2 count. Goldust with a big right hand and chops in the corner.
Orton turns it around and unloads on Goldust in the corner. Goldust blocks a powerslam and rolls Orton up for 2. Goldust goes for Shattered Dreams but Orton rolls out of the ring. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Orton is working Goldust over on the floor. Goldust blocks a shot into the steps and slams Orton's head into them. Goldust with a rake across the back and a right hand. Goldust brings it back in the ring but Orton cuts him off. Orton runs Goldust into the ring post and he goes down out on the floor. Orton backdrops Goldust over the fan barrier and slams him into the steps. Orton brings it back in the ring for a 2 count.
Orton keeps control of Goldust and stomps on him. Orton with another pin attempt. Goldust fights out of a headlock but Orton drops him with a knee to the gut. Goldust counters with a bulldog. Goldust rallies for a comeback and the fans get behind him. Orton misses a clothesline and Goldust hits a pair of his own. Goldust with the big drop down right hand. Goldust mounts Orton in the corner with more right hands. Orton almost runs the referee over and Goldust rolls him up for a close 2 count. Orton nails the second rope draping DDT. Orton mocks Daniel Bryan's "yes" chant while Goldust is down. Orton drops down for the RKO but Goldust blocks it and nails Cross Rhodes for a close 2 count.
Orton rolls Goldust up for a close 2 count. Goldust attacks but Orton counters and nails the RKO for the win.

After the match, we go to replays. Orton stands over Goldust with the WWE Title and takes a mic. Orton says it looks like Goldust's dream of saving Cody's career has been shattered, just like Daniel Bryan's dream of taking the WWE Title will be shattered at Night of Champions. Orton's music hits. He stands over Goldust with the WWE Title high in the air. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and we get another vignette for Los Matadores.
We see Goldust walking backstage. Stephanie McMahon approaches him and says he must be so disappointed. She knows Cody and his wife to be are disappointed because Cody no longer has a job. Stephanie says it's all because of Dustin. She says he let his family, his father and the WWE Universe down. She asks how it feels to be a loser, just like Cody. She tells Goldust to go join Cody in the unemployment line and tell Dusty she says hi. Goldust walks off looking sad.
Rob Van Dam vs. Ryback
We go to the ring and out comes Ricardo Rodriguez to do the introduction for Rob Van Dam. RVD and Ricardo head to the ring as we see footage from RVD vs. Orton on SmackDown where Alberto Del Rio got involved. We go to commercial as RVD hits the ring.
Back from the break and out comes Ryback. Alberto Del Rio's music hits and out he comes after Ryback enters the ring. Del Rio says RVD is nothing but a washed up loser. He says Ricardo is a peasant. Without Del Rio, he is nothing. Del Rio says they belong together. Del Rio says fans will be chanting ADR after Night of Champions. RVD and Ryback go at it now.
Ryback takes control and puts RVD on the mat, dropping his head repeatedly. RVD fights back with a kick to the head. Ryback counters again and catches RVD in mid-air. Ryback counters but RVD takes him back down. RVD nails Rolling Thunder for a 2 count. RVD with a senton from the top for another pin attempt. RVD goes up top for the Five Star but Ryback rolls to the floor. RVD leaps out to the floor but Ryback moves and he hits the barrier hard. Ryback rams RVD into the ring post, crotch first, and gets disqualified.

After the match, Ryback brings RVD in the ring and nails Shellshocked.
Stephanie McMahon is backstage with Big Show. She says he can't lay a hand on The Shield tonight and if he does, he will be fired. She says he has a special seat for Show tonight. Stephanie walks off and Show gets upset. He grabs a large monitor and slams it on the ground. Back to commercial.
Daniel Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose
Back from the break and out comes WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose with WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Big Show comes out next to be in Bryan's corner. Daniel Bryan is out next to a big pop.
The bell rings and they go at it. Back and forth to start. Bryan takes Ambrose down and kicks him in the back several times. Bryan drops a knee and covers for 2. Show cheers Bryan on as he sits at ringside. Bryan goes on and applies a surfboard submission. Ambrose breaks the hold by grabbing the middle rope. Ambrose takes Bryan to the corner and works him over now. Bryan with a big clothesline. Bryan goes to the top but gets knocked to the floor. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and Ambrose is in control. Show gets the crowd to rally behind Bryan. Ambrose charges in the corner but Bryan moves and he hits the ring post with his shoulder. Roman Reigns encourages Ambrose. Bryan comes back with dropkicks in the corner. Bryan with kicks as the crowd chants. Bryan with a hurricanrana from the top and a 2 count. Bryan with more kicks. Ambrose ducks the roundhouse and goes for a submission. Bryan counters for 2. Bryan with the Yes Lock now. Ambrose makes it to the bottom rope.
Ambrose turns it back around and gets a close 2 count. Ambrose with right hands on Bryan now. Ambrose takes Bryan up to the top but Bryan turns it around, turns Ambrose upside down and kicks him. Bryan with a low dropkick to the face. Bryan with a super backdrop from the top for a 2 count. More back and forth. Ambrose tosses Bryan out to the floor. Reigns goes to spear Bryan but Bryan moves and he hits the steel steps. Rollins comes flying at Bryan but hits the announcers table instead. Ambrose attacks from behind and takes Bryan out on the floor. Show looks on and can do nothing about it. Ambrose brings it back in the ring for a 2 count. Bryan with a roll up out of nowhere for the win.

After the match, Ambrose gets tossed out onto Rollins and Reigns. Randy Orton's music hits and out he comes running to the ring. Bryan stops him with a suicide dive to the floor. They start brawling at ringside. The Shield join in and help Orton beat Bryan down. Big Show comes over with a steel chair but realizes he can't do anything to help Bryan or he will get fired. They roll Bryan back in the ring. Orton comes in and nails a RKO. Orton's music hits but out comes Triple H and Stephanie. Triple H says Show needs to put his feelings aside and be a professional. He wants Show to go into the ring and knock Bryan out. Triple H orders Show to the ring. Orton gets in Show's face and yells at him. Orton holds Bryan up and waits for Show to hit the knockout punch. Show won't do it so Orton throws Bryan to the mat. Show goes to the corner and faces the crowd. Orton yells at him to turn around and face him. Orton yells some more and orders Show to knock Bryan out. Bryan comes with a knee to Orton's face out of nowhere. Bryan gets a "yes" chant going as he poses with the WWE Title over Orton. RAW goes off the air with Bryan posing with the WWE Title.

Late in the match, Gabriel fought out of a rest hold with a belly-to-back. Gabriel began to turn the match in his favor and scored a spinning back kick and a springboard cross body for a near fall. Fandango battled back with a spinning heel kick for a near fall of his own.

Damien Sandow cut a brief promo on the way to the ring saying that he is an uncrowned World Heavyweight Champion and he would decimate each of his opponents before he achieved the apex of his profession and cashed in the Money in the Bank contract.

The two men traded several rollups early. Truth got in some offense and Sandow rolled out of the ring. Sandow baited R-Truth to the floor and pounced on him when Truth tried to make his way back in the ring. Sandow settled into wearing down Truth with his offense.
Truth battled back and clotheslined Sandow to the outside...
Back from the break, Sandow was back in control. Sandow worked over Truth's midsection with a series of suplexes and holds. Truth got in a few hope spots, but Sandow remained firmly in control for the majority of the match. Sandow hit the Elbow of Disdain for a near fall.
Sandow missed an awkward moonsault and Truth capitalized on the opening and began to work through his moveset. Truth scored with a scissor kick for a near fall of his own.

Rowan left his mask on as they entered the ring and O'Neill slapped it off his face. O'Neill managed to get the better of Rowan early, but Rowan threw O'Neill in the corner and flatted him with a splash and a series of headbutts.
Harper tagged in and wore O'Neill out with a series of clubbing strikes. O'Neill managed to tag in Young, and Young hit a flurry of offense on Harper. Rowan entered the ring, but O'Neill fought the man to the floor. Young was distracted by the brawl, however, and when he turned around Harper walked right through his face.
Harper scooped Young off the mat and hit a discus clothesline before covering him for the 1-2-3...
The Wyatt Family defeated the Primetime Players in 3:09
After the match, Bray Wyatt entered the ring and hit Young with his finisher. The Wyatt Family posed over Young to close the show.

Tonight's WWE RAW opens up with Triple H being introduced. The Game waits in the ring as his music plays. We see The Shield standing guard in front of the ring. Triple H introduces the face of a company, the WWE Champion, the Viper Randy Orton. Out comes Orton.
Michael Cole welcomes us to another Labor Day RAW as Orton makes his way to the ring. Cole is joined by Jerry Lawler and JBL. Orton takes the mic and says protecting the company is his #1 responsibility. He won't let the image of WWE be tarnished. He says if you disrespect him, you're disrespecting the entire WWE and need to be dealt with. A "no!" chant starts up in the crowd. Orton brings up Daniel Bryan and a "yes!" chant starts. Orton says Bryan defaced his personal property last week, the Escalade that Triple H gave him. We see what happened on SmackDown with Orton beating Bryan while The Shield held him, and then spray-painted him. Orton wants to take a page out of Bryan's book and play a game with the fans tonight. Orton asks if Bryan should face him at Night of Champions for the WWE Title. The fans cheer but Orton says no. Orton asks if Bryan has a chance in hell at winning. Fans cheer but Orton says no. Orton asks if Bryan will ever amount to anything in WWE or will he always be a B+ player. Orton asks if Bryan should give up his Night of Champions title shot. Fans chant "no" and Orton says yes. Triple H steps in and says one of his responsibilities is seeing that WWE puts out the best product each week. Triple H says the WWE Universe deserves the best. His other job is to ensure the health and well-being of all the Superstars and Divas. Triple H has been worried about Bryan's health and welfare. Triple H gets a "yes" chant going. He says the fans are causing Bryan to confuse popularity with what's best for business. Triple H brings up Doink the Clown and says he was wildly popular but there was a big reason why Doink was never WWE Champion - because it would have been bad for business. Triple H says Bryan will never be WWE Champion and that's okay. Triple H jokes he can bring back the Cruiserweight or European title so Bryan can go for one of those. Bryan's music hits and out he comes.
Bryan comes out and calls Orton and Triple H clowns. Bryan says Triple H gave up being a man when he cut his hair and became a corporate sellout. Bryan isn't giving up his Night of Champions title shot. Bryan asks if Orton is more masculine than Stephanie McMahon and gets a "no" chant going. Orton threatens more punishment to Bryan. Bryan talks about how Orton has been given everything while he's fought for what he has. Bryan knows he can beat Orton for the WWE Title. Bryan says deep down, Orton and Triple H know it too. Bryan says Orton doesn't have the heart of a champion. He goes to say Orton is nothing but Triple H's bitch. Triple H cuts him off and calls him a grumpy little troll. Triple H says Bryan's anger is misdirected. It shouldn't be directed at them, it should be directed at Big Show. Triple H runs down Big Show. He says Show has an iron-clad contract but just stands around crying each week while Bryan gets beat down. Triple H announces Bryan vs. Show for tonight's main event.
We see footage of Paul Heyman hitting CM Punk with the kendo stick last week. Tonight, Punk will address what happened. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Orton is walking with Triple H, joking about Big Show. They run into Cody Rhodes. Triple H shakes his hand and asks how Dusty Rhodes is doing. Cody says he is fine. Cody thinks tonight's main event will be great, as long as nobody gets involved. Triple H asks why anyone would get involved. Cody asks Orton why doesn't he want to defend the title against Bryan. Cody says Bryan vs. Orton is what's best for business. Triple H asks if Cody is deciding what's best for business now. Triple H says Cody has a lot on his mind, like getting married soon and everything. Orton and Triple H both say they didn't get an invitation. Triple H got Cody an early wedding present - a match against Orton tonight. Cody thanks him for the huge opportunity. Triple H says if Cody doesn't win, he won't be employed very long.
Fandango vs. The Miz
We go to the ring and out comes Fandango with Summer Rae. Out next comes The Miz. The bell rings and they go at it. Miz goes for an early Figure Four but Fandango goes to the floor. Miz follows and kicks him into the barrier. Miz works Fandango over on the floor and drops him over the barrier. Miz brings it back in the ring. He grabs Summer Rae and twirls her around before coming back in. Miz drops Fandango on his face for a 2 count. Miz goes on and kicks Fandango in the face for another pin attempt. Miz with a headlock as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Fandango is in control. Fandango whips Miz into the corner and covers for another 2 count. Apparently Fandango has a broken nose after a kick to the face. WWE's doctor worked on him during the commercial, according to Cole. Summer Rae gets in a cheap shot and slaps Miz. Miz fights back with Fandango and whips him off the turnbuckle. Miz goes for a Figure Four but it's blocked. Miz misses the clothesline in the corner. Fandango with right hands and a springboard leg drop for a pin attempt. Miz goes for the Figure Four again and gets it locked in for the win out of nowhere.

Back from the break and Booker T approaches Daniel Bryan backstage and wants to talk. Booker says going against the McMahons is not a fight he can win. Booker says he's too good to be going back to high school gyms and wrestling for $50. Booker says Bryan can make a ton of money in WWE. Booker says maybe Bryan should consider giving up his title shot. Bryan can't believe Booker said it. Bryan says this is about his life. Booker says Bryan needs to wake up. Booker goes on and says he's behind Bryan but Bryan needs to tread lightly. Bryan walks off.
We see footage from last week where Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel beat down CM Punk.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Ryback
We go to the ring and out first comes Dolph Ziggler. We go to commercial as Dolph makes his entrance.
Back from the break and Dolph is still waiting to find out his opponent. WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose attacks from behind and beats Ziggler down. Ambrose says Ziggler is going to learn some respect. Ryback's music hits and out he comes as Ziggler's opponent.
A loud Goldberg chant hits as Ryback enters the ring. Ziggler tries to recover from the Ambrose attack. Ziggler goes at it with Ryback but gets tossed across the ring. Ryback beats Ziggler up some more and rips his shirt off. More offense by Ryback for several minutes. Ziggler comes back with a dropkick and right hands but Ryback nails a Meathook clothesline. Ryback hits Shellshocked for the win.

Brad Maddox walks up on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon backstage. He says Big Show is refusing to wrestle Daniel Bryan tonight. Stephanie is going to the ring to call Show out.

Back from the break and out comes Stephanie McMahon to the ring.
Stephanie says she's going to bring out someone who's helped her and been there for her over the years. She introduces her friend, her giant Big Show. Show comes out to the ring and they hug. Stephanie says she heard Show doesn't want to face Bryan tonight. Stephanie says Show has made some bad investments and is completely broke. Show starts crying. Stephanie says he gets no money from that iron-clad contract unless he performs. She asks how much longer will he be able to wrestle. Stephanie goes on and says giants typically don't live longer than normal people. She says this is about his family and that's why he will make the right decision. Show is still crying. Stephanie says she is hurting and hugs Show before walking out of the ring. Show looks on, still crying. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and we see footage of Big Show going crazy backstage.

Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater vs. Darren Young and Titus O'Neil
3MB comes out first followed by Darren Young and Titus O'Neil to a decent reaction. Slater starts out with Titus and mocks his bark. Titus unloads and takes Slater to the corner.
Young comes in and fights off Slater and Mahal. He goes at it with Mahal and gets the upperhand. Young with a pin attempt. Young fights off more double teaming but gets knocked off the turnbuckle. Slater tags in and stomps away on Young. McIntyre gets in a cheap shot. Slater keeps Young on the mat now. Slater with a neckbreaker and another pin attempt. Mahal comes in for some double teaming and keeps up the attack on Young. More double teaming on Young. Young fights off Slater with headbutts and a big overhead throw. Titus tags in as does Mahal. Titus runs over him and hits a big clothesline in the corner. Titus with a big overhead throw. He starts barking and nails a big boot for a close 2 count as Slater breaks the pin. Young takes out Slater. Mahal sends Young to the floor. Titus lays out Mahal for the win.

Back from the break and Brad Maddox is on the phone. Paul Heyman walks in and tells Maddox to call the person back. Heyman says he isn't doing too good because of Maddox putting his fate in the hands of the WWE Universe last week. Heyman goes on and in walks Triple H. Triple H says he approved what Maddox did last week. Triple H says not because of their short past, but because Triple H is a fan of his and always has been. Triple H doesn't see a way Heyman can weasel his way out of the match at Night of Champions. Maybe this is the match where Punk gives Heyman the beating he deserves. Either way, Triple H wins.
We get a video of Bray Wyatt talking about what's happened with Kane. Bray says the fire isn't Kane's friend. He says Kane allowed his pride to cloud his common sense and that's when Bray knew he was his. Like a lamb to slaughter, he says. Bray says Kane made his bed and now he's burning in it. Where's Kane? Bray laughs as Erick Rowan and Luke Harper stand behind him.
Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton
We go to the ring and out comes Cody Rhodes with his job on the line. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and out comes WWE Champion Randy Orton. Back and forth to start the match. Orton mounts Cody in the corner with punches. Cody comes back and drops Orton on his face. Cody with a 2 count. Orton turns it around again and drops Cody over the ropes, sending him out to the floor. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and they're brawling out on the floor. Orton takes control and brings it back in. Orton with a big knee drop for a 2 count. Orton with a headlock now. We see the WWE locker room backstage watching this match. Cody finally makes a comeback with clotheslines and a high elbow. Cody with the big dropdown right hand. Cody comes down off the top and covers for another close 2 count. Orton ducks a Disaster Kick but Cody shoves him into the corner. Cody nails a Disaster Kick and covers for another close 2 count.
Fans chant for Cody. Cody goes up high for the moonsault but Orton steps to the side and Cody hits the mat. Orton with a 2 count. Orton gets ready to put Cody away. Cody blocks the RKO and nails Cross Rhodes for another close pin attempt. Orton kicks Cody away. Orton drops his neck over the top rope and comes back in. Rhodes blocks a RKO and rolls Orton up for 2. Orton ducks a Disaster Kick and Cody lands bad on his knee. Orton goes for the knee and nails a RKO for the win and Cody's job.

After the match, Orton stands with the WWE Title as we go to replays. Orton heads to the stage to pose with the WWE Title. Triple H comes out and congratulates him. Orton heads to the back as Cody looks on from the ring. Triple H gives it up for Cody. He says Cody went all in and fought like his life was on the line. From the bottom of Triple H's heart, he respects Cody. He says but this is a business and in business, he needs winners. He can't let his personal feelings cloud his judgement. He has to do what's right for everyone in the back. With deep regret, Triple H informs Cody that he is fired. Cody is upset in the ring. He limps away after a "thank you Cody" chant. Fans chant his name as Cody heads up the ramp. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and the announcers are talking about what happened to Cody Rhodes.
We go to the ring and out comes CM Punk with a kendo stick.
Punk comes out and promises no more empty threats. He says he's having a hard time finding what to say next. He talks about the kendo stick attack from last week and asks what is left to say. Punk says we've heard it all. He's here and ready to compete but wrestling is so far from his mind right now. Punk says he wants to fight. He wants to fight Paul Heyman. If he has to fight Curtis Axel to get a shot at Heyman, he will do it. Punk says he would invite them out right now but he knows they won't come. Punk says in 13 days, he's got them both. Punk says he's in such a dark place right now. Punk says it will be a biblical ass-beating at Night of Champions. Punk says he's here to say something to the fans. Fans start chanting for Punk. In 13 days, he guarantees he will get past Axel and then guarantees he will get his hands on Heyman. If you order Night of Champions, you will see a side of CM Punk you've never seen before. Punk says it might not be a side we like. Punk says a lot of people won't like what happens to Heyman at Night of Champions. Heyman said Punk broke his heart but at Night of Champions, Punk is going to break his face. Punk promises and drops the mic.
We get another look back at what happened with Punk, Heyman and Axel last week. Punk is still in the ring clutching the kendo stick.

Back from the break and Big Show walks up on Daniel Bryan backstage. Show says he didn't want the fight tonight and is under a lot of pressure. Bryan doesn't care about what Show wants. Show says he's in a no-win situation here. Bryan agrees because tonight, he will beat Big Show again. Bryan walks off.
We get a look back at AJ Lee's pipebomb from last week.
Natalya vs. Naomi vs. Brie Bella
This match was made by Stephanie McMahon. The winner will face AJ Lee for the Divas Title at Night of Champions. We see the other Total Divas at ringside also. Before the match begins, out comes AJ for commentary.
Lots of back and forth in the match as AJ rants no commentary. Naomi with the rear bump. AJ storms the ring and attacks Naomi and Natalya for the DQ. A brawl breaks out with all the Divas in the ring as the timekeeper rings the bell. Natalya, Naomi and Brie leave the ring with AJ laid out but no new #1 contender named.

Damien Sandow vs. Rob Van Dam
Back from the break and Damien Sandow waits in the ring. Ricardo Rodriguez is out next to introduce Rob Van Dam. Lots of back and forth to start the match.
More back and forth. RVD nails a big kick off the ropes and Sandow goes down. Alberto Del Rio's music hits and out he comes, distracting RVD. Sandow kicks RVD out of the ring. We go to commercial with Del Rio looking on from the stage.
Back from the break and Sandow is in control with a headlock. RVD tries to turn it around but gets dropped for a 2 count. RVD with a big kick to the face. RVD fights back but Sandow drops him into the ropes. Sandow with more offense and a swinging neckbreaker for 2. RVD comes back with clotheslines and a big kick. RVD hits Rolling Thunder. He goes to the corner but Sandow rolls him up for 2. RVD drops Sandow over the top rope and nails the Five Star frogsplash for the win.

Josh Mathews catches up with Cody Rhodes on his way out backstage. Cody says he lost because of the stupid stipulation. Cody says the McMahons have hated the Rhodes for decades. He says they ruined his father and brother. Cody storms off when Mathews mentions his fiancee.

Big Show vs. Daniel Bryan
The roster is being forced to watch this match by Triple H. Out first comes Daniel Bryan after the break. Bryan is ready to go. Big Show comes out next and is hesitant.
Show tells Bryan he doesn't want to do this. Bryan tells him to bring it. Bryan strikes first but gets knocked down. Show says his back is against the wall and he doesn't want to do this. Bryan charges again and Show grabs him, yelling some more about not wanting to do this. Show sends Bryan to the floor. Bryan runs in and kicks Show's leg out. Bryan unloads with kicks and takes Show down. Show keeps getting up but Bryan kicks him back down. Bryan with a dropkick to the head for a 1 count. Bryan with a big dropkick in the corner. And another. Show blocks the third with his back. Show is upset now. He hits Bryan with lots of big chops in the corner.
Show hits Bryan some more and yells about how he made him do this. Bryan with more kicks but Show runs over him with a shoulder. Show tells Bryan to just stop fighting, don't make him do this. Bryan charges and Show knocks him back with a headbutt. Show with a shot to the gut now. Show goes back down and Bryan unloads with kicks. Show goes for a chokeslam but Bryan turns it into a DDT. Bryan comes off the top but Show knocks him in mid-air. Show readies for the knockout punch but stops and leaves the ring. Triple H's music hits. The Shield runs down to ringside and Triple H is behind them. He tells Bryan to get back in the ring and finish Bryan. Show and Triple H come face to face outside the ring. Show says no. He starts walking off. The Shield start beating down Bryan. Show comes back in the ring but Triple H gets in the way. Triple H tells Show to do what's right, think about his family. He tells Show to step back. Show watches as The Shield hit Bryan with the triple powerbomb. Show starts crying. Triple H tells Show to balls up his big fist and knock Bryan out. Show cries some more as he readies the punch. Roman Reigns holds Bryan up. Show yells no and leaves the ring. Triple H warns Big Show. Out comes Stephanie McMahon to confront Show on the stage. She tells him to think about his family and they start walking to the ring. Reigns holds Bryan up again as Show enters the ring. Triple H orders Show again to hit Bryan. Show turns towards Triple H but Stephanie gets in the way. The crowd cheers. Show is still crying. He turns back around and decks Bryan with a knockout punch as the crowd boos. Triple H and Stephanie pat Show on the back, telling him he did the right thing. Show heads up the ramp with Triple H and Stephanie telling him he did the right thing. Randy Orton's music hits and out he comes. Show is still crying. Orton walks past them and heads to the ring.
The Shield, Triple H, Stephanie, Big Show and the rest of the roster look on from the stage as Orton puts a boot on Bryan's chest and poses with the WWE Title. RAW goes off the air.

Triple H stops and smiles at The Shield before heading to the ring. Triple H shows us footage from SummerSlam where Randy Orton became WWE Champion by cashing in. Triple H says that was business, nothing personal at all. He shows us footage from last week's RAW where The Shield beat Daniel Bryan down in front of the McMahons and then hit with a RKO from Orton. Triple H says that was personal. Triple H says Bryan insulted his wife and family so that's the personal response he gets for it. Triple H says he's willing to be the bigger man and move on. Triple H says ratings and social media buzz were through the roof last week - business is booming and it's all due to Randy Orton, the new face of WWE. Triple H brings Orton out to the ring.
Triple H congratulates Orton on breathing new life into WWE and the WWE Title. Triple H liked to reward people who excel. He got Orton a little gift. Triple H wants to make it clear that he did it out of his own pocket. A new Cadillac Escalade is brought into the arena. Orton thanks Triple H and thanks him for realizing he's the only one fit to be the face of WWE. Orton goes to check out his new Cadillac but here comes Daniel Bryan to the stage. Bryan talks about how sweet the new Cadillac is and says it's well deserved. Bryan has some thank you's of his own. He thanks the WWE Universe for believing in him and supporting him. Bryan thanks John Cena for giving him the chance to main event SummerSlam for the WWE Title. Bryan then thanks Triple H for showing his true colors and proving that his view about what's best for business and what the WWE Champion should look like is more narrow-minded than Vince McMahon. Bryan says Triple H is nothing but a sell-out in a suit now. Bryan cracks on Triple H's extra large nose. Orton tells Bryan to show them both respect. Bryan says the face of WWE is going to get re-arranged at Night of Champions. Bryan declares he will become the new WWE Champion and gets a "yes" chant going. Triple H rips Bryan and says he's a "B" at best. Triple H announces Bryan vs. Seth Rollins for tonight. If he makes it through that, Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose. And if he makes it through those two, he will have to face Roman Reigns.

During the match, Fandango's music hits and out comes The Miz dressed like him on the stage. Miz mocks Fandango and dances with Rosa Mendes it looks like. Cody rolls a distracted Fandango up for the win.

Axel says Punk will have to out-wrestle him tonight and he can't do that. Axel says the situation is better than perfect. Heyman doesn't seem so sure. Back to another commercial.
Curtis Axel vs. CM Punk
Back from the break and WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel waits in the ring for this non-title match. Out next comes CM Punk to a big pop. Paul Heyman comes out to the stage as Jerry Lawler reveals the stipulation. If Punk wins, Heyman must get in the ring with him. The bell rings and here we go.
Heyman looks on from the stage as Punk and Axel go at it. Punk keeps control and goes for a quick roll up. Axel slides out of a GTS and goes to the floor to re-group. Punk runs up the ramp at Heyman but Axel comes from behind and fights him back to the ring. Axel works Punk over and brings him back into the ring. Axel with more offense and a 2 count. Punk turns it around and drops Axel. Punk goes up for the big elbow drop but Axel rolls out of the ring. Punk with a suicide dive out onto the floor as Heyman looks on. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and they're going at it. Axel with a big clothesline to the back of the head for a 2 count. Axel with a big dropkick to the jaw for a 2 count. Punk with kicks. Axel blocks and catapults Punk to the second rope. Punk comes back with a crossbody and 2 count. Axel ducks the roundhouse kick. More back and forth. Punk comes back and nails the elbow from up high. Axel blocks GTS and hits his finisher for a close 2 count. Punk nails a GTS for the win.

- After the match, Heyman looks shocked as Punk gets ready to fight. Heyman walks off to the back but he's met by WWE referees, who bring him back to ringside. Punk waits for Heyman to come to the ring to fight. Punk leaves the ring and Heyman runs to the back. Heyman walks up the ramp but this time security brings Heyman to Punk. Punk rolls him in the ring but Axel makes the save with a low blow. Heyman hands Axel a pair of handcuffs and Punk's arms are put behind his back as the crowd boos. Axel holds Punk while Heyman yells and smacks him. Punk sits on his knees as they taunt him. Punk jumps up and drops Axel with a roundhouse. He kicks Heyman's leg out and goes to work on him with kicks. Axel makes the save from behind. Axel works Punk over and brings in a kendo stick. Axel hands the kendo stick to Heyman and he nails Punk. Axel holds Punk up on the ropes and Heyman wails away with the stick. Axel pulls Punk out of the ring and throws him into the announcers table. More trash talking and punches from Axel. Heyman comes out of the ring and hits Punk with several more kendo stick shots. Heyman yells that Punk broke his heart. A "walrus" chant breaks out in the crowd as a WWE doctor checks on Punk. We go to commercial.

Natalya vs. Brie Bella
Natalya comes out first with Cameron and Naomi by her side. Out next comes Brie Bella with Eva Marie and Nikki Bella.
Typical back and forth Divas match. The rest of the Total Divas get involved and break up a Sharpshooter. Brie takes advantage and gets the win.

- After the match, Divas Champion AJ Lee comes out to the stage. She talks about watching last night's episode of Total Divas. She mocks all of them. AJ says she sees nothing but a bunch of useless, interchangeable, talentless women. AJ says she has done more in 1 year than all of them combined. AJ says she worked her life for this while they were just handed 15 minutes of fame. AJ says she didn't suck up to the right people. She got here because she's good. She earned the title. AJ says none of them will ever be able to lace up her Chuck Taylors and that gets a pop. She calls them worthless excuses for women. She says they will never be able to touch her and that is reality. AJ drops the mic and skips away.
- We see Rob Van Dam and Ricardo Rodriguez backstage warming up. Back to commercial.
Rob Van Dam vs. Alberto Del Rio
Back from the break and out comes Ricardo Rodriguez to introduce Rob Van Dam. RVD is out first for this non-title match. Out next comes World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio. Ricardo takes off his coat to reveal a RVD t-shirt.
Lots of back and forth to start. RVD sends Del Rio out to the floor and we take another commercial break.
Back from the break and RVD fights out of a hold. It's revealed that if RVD can win this, Brad Maddox is giving him a title shot at Night of Champions. Del Rio with a double stomp to the back. He mocks RVD now. Del Rio comes off the top but RVD cuts him off with a kick. RVD with clotheslines now. RVD nails Rolling Thunder but Del Rio kicks out at 2. Del Rio fights back but RVD sends him to the mat. RVD with a split legged moonsault for 2. More back and forth. Ricardo stands on the announce table and distracts RVD. RVD rolls Del Rio up for the win and the title shot.

- We get a look back at John Cena telling fans he needed surgery and won't be back for another 4-6 months. We get a Cena Twitter update.

- Renee Young approaches Heyman and Axel backstage. She asks if Heyman was afraid earlier tonight. Axel says what happened was something Punk will never forget. Heyman says Punk is a child who just needs to keep getting punished, and punished, and punished, and punished. Heyman says he feels like a man right now, a man who put his prodigal son in place. Heyman says Punk will learn that he's the last person to come up against. They get in a car and drive off.

We go to the ring and out comes Christian to a nice reaction. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and out comes WWE Champion Randy Orton for another non-title match. The bell rings and Christian goes for an early roll up. Back and forth action until Orton takes control. They fight on the apron and Christian dumps Orton to the floor. Christian with a diving shot that sends Orton back into the barrier. Christian works Orton over and brings him back in the ring. Christian with the inverted neckbreaker for a 2 count. Christian goes to the top but Orton moves. Orton with a big dropkick.
Orton keeps control and sends Christian back out to the floor. Orton brings the fight back into the ring and keeps Christian grounded. Christian fights out but has Killswitch blocked. Orton with more offense and a 2 count. Orton ends up pushing Christian hard from the top out to the floor. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Orton is in control in the middle of the ring with a headlock. Christian fights out and starts to make a comeback. They trade shots in the corner. Orton climbs up for a superplex and nails it. Christian with a roll up for 2 out of nowhere. Lots of back and forth now. Christian ducks a RKO and mounts Orton with right hands in the corner. Christian fights back and nails a big crossbody for a close 2 count. Christian comes back off the top but Orton catches him with a jackknife pin for 2. More back and forth. Orton blocks Killswitch but catches a tornado DDT for a 2 count. Orton nails the draping DDT from the ropes. Christian blocks the RKO. Orton leaps over a spear but Christian nails the next one for a 2 count. Another RKO is blocked. Orton blocks Killswitch and sneaks in a thumb to the eye. Orton nails a RKO for the win.

- After the match, Bryan appears on the big screen and congratulates Orton. Bryan is backstage in front of the Cadillac that Orton received from Triple H earlier in the night. Bryan wonders if he is the new face of WWE if he defeats Orton at Night of Champions. Bryan steps to the side to reveal "yes" spray painted all over the Escalade. Orton flips out in the ring and we go to commercial.
- Back from the break and Triple H, Maddox and Orton are looking at the spray-painted Escalade. Maddox points out everyone is laughing at Triple H and Orton. Triple H says this Cadillac is his personal property. Triple H says the WWE Title is also his property and Orton is carrying it for him. Triple H orders Maddox to gather the WWE roster to watch what happens to Bryan tonight. Triple H will fire anyone who dares to help. Orton says Bryan is going to pay and Triple H agrees.
Titus O'Neil vs. Jack Swagger
We go to the ring and out first comes Darren Young with Titus O'Neil. Out next comes Zeb Colter with Jack Swagger. Colter talks about The Primetime Players have stole victories from the Real Americans lately. Zeb takes a shot at Titus and Young's mothers for being on welfare. Swagger and Titus go at it to start the match.
Good back and forth match. Titus blocks the ankle lock. Young gets involved and distracts Swagger and Cesaro. Swagger turns around to a spinebuster from Titus for the win.
Winner: Titus O'Neil
- We get a look back at SummerSlam where Kane lost the Ring of Fire match against Bray Wyatt. The Wyatts will speak next. Back to commercial.
- Back from the break and they air a WWE.com video from Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family. Bray talks about Sister Abigail, the name of his finishing move.
- We see footage from tonight of what has happened with Randy Orton's Cadillac that Triple H bought for him.
- Brad Maddox is backstage with the doctor. Apparently CM Punk is refusing medical attention. Punk walks in and wants a match with Heyman. Maddox announces a Handicap Elimination Match for Night of Champions - Punk vs. Heyman and Axel.

The WWE roster is on the stage as Daniel Bryan makes his way out first.
Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins
Out next comes one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins through the crowd with his partners. Renee Young is on the stage talking to Big Show about the Triple H regime. Show refuses to speak this week. She goes to Dolph Ziggler for comment and he won't speak either. She goes to The Miz for comment but he doesn't want to get fired either.
Bryan with an early surfboard submission as Reigns and Ambrose look on from ringside. Good back and forth match. Bryan with clotheslines and kicks while Rollins is on his knees. Bryan misses a roundhouse kick and Ambrose turns it around on the apron. Rollins springboards in but Bryan cuts him off and applies the half crab. Rollins makes it to the ropes and breaks the hold. Bryan sends Rollins to the floor and nails a suicide dive, causing Rollins to land hard on the other side of the announce table. Bryan works Rollins over as the fans chant "yes" and we go to commercial.
: Back from the break and Rollins is in control, keeping Bryan on the mat. Rollins smacks Bryan around and hits another flying elbow in the corner. Bryan looks to make a comeback but Rollins drops him in the corner again. Rollins tells him to stay down and smacks him some more. Bryan nails a dropkick in the corner out of nowhere. Bryan comes back and trades shots with Rollins. They trade pin attempts now. Rollins with a big kick to the head. Big inverted suplex by Rollins but Bryan kicks out at 2. Rollins with more offense in the corner. Bryan climbs up for a super German and drops Rollins on his face from up high. Bryan drops Rollins again for the pin.
Daniel Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose
Ambrose comes right in and goes to work on Bryan. Bryan gets the Yes Lock applied early on but Roman Reigns interferes for the bell, disqualifying Ambrose

The third match doesn't last as The Shield beat Bryan down with the triple team. The WWE roster looks on from the stage. Triple H's music hits and out he comes, staring at some of the talents. He locks eyes with Big Show but Show just looks away. The Shield drops Bryan with the triple powerbomb. Triple H is still daring anyone to help Bryan. Here comes Randy Orton next. Triple H sends Orton to the ring to get revenge on Bryan. The Shield holds Bryan while Orton approaches. Orton taunts Bryan and nails a RKO while fans chant for Big Show. We see Show looking angrily at Triple H. Orton heads back up the ramp as Bryan is left laying at the feet of The Shield. Orton holds the WWE Title up high from the ramp. Triple H dares the roster to laugh now. RAW goes off the air with The Shield standing over Bryan.

The Smackdown video plays, and we're brought into the arena as Lilian Garcia asks the crowd to welcome Vickie Guerrero, the General Manager of Smackdown. Vickie is standing in the center of the ring. She welcomes the crowd to Smackdown. On behalf of the entire McMahon Family, as she has cleared the air with Triple H since she has left Monday Night RAW, it is with great excitement that she introduces the new WWE Champion, Randy Orton.
WWE Champion Randy Orton comes out to the ring to some boos from the crowd. Vickie Guerrero meets him on the ramp and goes for a hug, but he just stares at her. They then shake hands, and he enters the ring. Orton poses on the turnbuckle with the WWE Championship as the crowd gives him the old Bronx cheer. Orton says as the new WWE Champion, he promises to give the crowd what they want and what they deserve as champion. He promises that they will aspire to be him, and he will be a role model. What does a role model do? A role model tells the truth, and that's exactly what he did. He told the truth to everyone, especially to Daniel Bryan, when he successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract as he said they would never see it coming.
None of them, including Daniel Bryan, should be surprised at what happened. He should be surprised. Sunday night at Summerslam, he didn't know that Triple H was going to Pedigree Bryan. What would the people in the crowd have done? He's not one to pass up an opportunity literally lying right in front of him. Orton says he did not need Triple H's help, just like he didn't need The Shield's help on RAW. Although he greatly appreciates the support from the entire McMahon Family, he wants to ask the crowd for their support as well. The crowd boos him and chants "NO!" Orton says he's not only the WWE Champion; he's also the face of the WWE.
Daniel Bryan's music hits, and he makes his way to the ring to a great reception. The crowd chants "YES" as he gets in the ring. Bryan says before he addresses the "face of the WWE," he wants to finish saying what he was going to say on RAW before Stephanie McMahon rudely interrupted him. It's a short message to John Cena. Bryan says, "John, thank you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to wrestle you at Summerslam. Thank you for being bold enough and courageous enough to wrestle with a torn triceps. Because even if I was only better than you for just one day, that opportunity allowed me to feel what it feels like to be the WWE Champion." Bryan says as far as Orton is concerned, it's time for that face to change. The crowd chants "YES!"
Bryan says the crowd has to understand. He doesn't look like Randy Orton. Orton is chiseled, tall, and he's pretty. The crowd laughs at Orton. Bryan says he can see why Triple H likes him so much. Orton is just so pretty and arrogant. Why shouldn't he be? He's been handed every opportunity here in WWE. He's created his own success. However, Orton's opportunities have come because his father was here, his grandfather was here, and he was given the genetic golden ticket to be here in the WWE. Bryan then sarcastically goes back to how he can't get over how pretty Orton is. Bryan asks the crowd to give it up for how pretty Randy Orton is. Bryan says he's so pretty, it makes him want to kick Orton in the face. Orton starts laughing as the crowd chants "YES!"
Bryan says he had to scratch and claw for every opportunity. He had to wrestle in every dirty high school gymnasium all over the country and world. He had to wrestle on staph infested mats all over the place and sleep in his car just to get an ounce of respect. He had to climb the ladder of success step-by-step. Bryan says he's not tall, and he certainly isn't pretty, but he can wrestle, and he can beat Orton. Bryan says he can beat him for the title. Bryan says he is entitled a rematch for the WWE Championship, and he wants the rematch to happen tonight. Bryan leads the crowd in a great "YES" chant.
Orton calls Bryan "short stuff" as he says he'll have to wait for Night of Champions. Orton stands close to Bryan as he raises the WWE Championship above his head. Orton turns to leave, but then he goes for an RKO. Bryan pushes him off, but Orton hangs onto the ropes. Bryan then dropkicks him over the top rope! Bryan yells for Orton to get back in the ring, but he just backs off. Bryan gets the crowd going with a "YES" chant as his music plays.
Christian will take on Alberto Del Rio in a non-title Summerslam rematch.
Curtis Axel is seen walking with Paul Heyman backstage. He'll be in action, next.

Vickie Guerrero is on the phone talking about how Daniel Bryan wasn't supposed to be out there. It was supposed to be Randy Orton's moment. She says someone needs to teach that little troll a lesson before hanging up. Wade Barrett comes up to her. Barrett says it seems like him, the McMahon Family, and her have something in common. They have a mutual dislike of Daniel Bryan. As a former champion, Bryan gets a rematch against Orton for the WWE Championship, but he wants to make sure that never happens. Barrett asks her to put him in a match with Bryan, and he guarantees that will be the last she will see of Bryan. Vickie says she could make it a No Holds Barred or Extreme Rules match, but she's going to have it be in a Steel Cage match. They both smile.
Cody Rhodes vs. Curtis Axel w/ Paul Heyman
A replay is shown of CM Punk viciously beating Curtis Axel down on this past Monday's RAW. Heyman was forced to watch his young client go down from afar.
The bell rings, and they circle the ring. Axel kicks him down in the corner before the referee backs him up. Rhodes catches him with a back elbow before applying a waistlock. Axel applies one of his own, but Rhodes pulls his leg out. Rhodes hits the ropes, and Axel takes him down with a nice dropkick. Rhodes pushes him away and charges, but Axel gives him a back body drop to the apron. Rhodes shoulders him before hitting a springboard dropkick for a two count.
Axel rolls out of the ring to recover, so Rhodes goes to the top rope. Axel sees this, and he moves. Rhodes gets on the apron to chase him, but Axel sweeps the feet. Rhodes hits the apron hard. Rhodes falls to the outside, and Axel drives him spine-first into the edge of the ring.
**Commercial**
We come back from the break to see Axel dropping some forearms on Rhodes for a two count. Axel hits a snapmare before hitting a rolling neck snapper for a two count. Axel applies a chin lock, but Rhodes quickly fights up. Rhodes elbows out and whips him to the corner, but Axel slides on his feet and connects with a clothesline. Axel goes to the second rope, but Rhodes avoids the diving elbow. Rhodes punches him before having a whip reversed. Rhodes drops down and uppercuts him. Rhodes hangs him up on the top rope and kicks him in the midsection, a la Hardcore Holly. Axel then ducks a Disaster Kick. Axel kicks him down and sends him to the corner, but Rhodes catches him with a rollup for a near fall. Rhodes quickly takes him down with a clothesline.
Rhodes goes to the top rope, but Heyman distracts him by stomping up the ring steps. Axel shakes the ropes, and Rhodes is crotched on the top rope. Axel follows up with the hangman's face-buster for the win.

Paul Heyman stands in the ring with his client. Heyman says he stands before the crowd a man who is not just in pain, but agony. That agony is a direct result of the actions by CM Punk. The crowd chants Punk's name. Heyman says they will choke on their cheers. He's not talking about the obvious physical pain he's in. He's in emotional distress because a man whom he once considered to be his best friend and an athlete he guided to being the "Best in the World" has been reduced to being a sad, pathetic loser. Heyman says CM Punk was pinned by Brock Lesnar at Summerslam. Instead of accepting defeat like a man and acknowledging his loss, Punk went off the rails.
Punk is on a downward spiral. His actions on RAW were befitting a madman. Without Paul Heyman in his corner, Punk never stood a chance against Brock Lesnar. Without Paul Heyman, CM Punk is lost, while with Paul Heyman, Curtis Axel has found himself. His client is filled with confidence. His client has notched many victories, which is why no one can defeat Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental Championship.
Curtis Axel takes the microphone, and he says the problem is Punk doesn't deserve an Intercontinental Championship match. The man is so jealous that Heyman has been paying more attention to him that he assaulted him with a chair on Monday night. Axel says he wants to finish the job that Brock Lesnar started at Summerslam. Axel challenges Punk to a match live on Monday Night RAW. Axel says his future is better than Punk's. He's more athletic than him, and he has someone in his corner named Paul Heyman.
Daniel Bryan will take on Wade Barrett in a Steel Cage match later tonight.
Dolph Ziggler is seen on split screen with AJ Lee and Big E Langston occupying the other side. Ziggler and Langston will fight, next.

Before the match begins, Langston attacks Ziggler as he enters the ring. Langston unloads on him with punches in the corner before bouncing him chest first off the turnbuckle. The referee admonishes Langston and orders him to back up. Langston charges Ziggler again, and the referee yells at him. The referee checks on Ziggler, and he says he's OK.
The bell rings, and Ziggler sidesteps Langston. Ziggler punches him before Langston pushes him into the ropes and hits a big flapjack for a two count. Langston punches away at him before hitting a big splash for another two count. Langston applies a chin lock, but Ziggler fights up and hits a jawbreaker. Ziggler sidesteps him in the corner, and Langston hits the ring post shoulder first. Ziggler hits an avalanche in the corner before hitting a neckbreaker. Ziggler hits a dropkick before going for a famouser. Langston counters by getting him in position for a powerbomb, but Ziggler counters into a sit-out face-buster for a two count.
AJ punches Ziggler in the face as the referee's back was turned. Langston viciously clotheslines Ziggler for a near fall. Langston goes for the Big Ending, but Ziggler slides off and connects with a Zig-Zag for the win. AJ Lee screams at ringside.

They circle the ring and lock up. Del Rio powers Christian to the corner, and the referee tries to back him up. Del Rio sucker punches him in the gut before kicking him down. Del Rio kicks and punches him before the referee backs him up. Del Rio charges, but Christian gives him a back body drop over the top rope. Christian then takes him out with a baseball slide that sends Del Rio ribs first into the barricade. Christian punches and puts him in the ring, but Del Rio slides out. Christian goes to the top rope to splash him, but Del Rio goes up the ramp to avoid him. Christian stares at him from the ring.
**Commercial**
We come back from the break to see Del Rio kicking away at Christian's leg. Del Rio backs up, and Christian uppercuts him a few times. During the commercial break, Del Rio slammed Christian's arm off the commentary table a few times. Christian goes to the second rope for a tornado DDT, but Del Rio gets out of the headlock and pushes him over the top rope to the outside!
Del Rio goes outside, and he kicks away at him. Del Rio throws him into the ring and covers for a near fall. Del Rio applies an overhead wristlock, but Christian fights up and punches out. Christian hits the ropes and kicks him in the face. Christian hits the ropes again, but this time Del Rio catches him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a near fall. Del Rio quickly gets him on the ropes and twists his arm around one. Del Rio taunts the crowd before going for a splash, but Christian avoids it.
Christian snaps Del Rio off the top rope, and he gets the crowd clapping with him. Del Rio gets back in the ring and tries for a clothesline, but Christian ducks. Christian has a whip reversed, but he takes him down with a running forearm. Christian punches him in the corner before catching him with a back body drop. Christian goes to the top rope, but Del Rio avoids the cross-body block. Del Rio quickly connects with a low dropkick to the face for a near fall. Del Rio head-butts away at him before missing an enzuigiri. Christian executes a nice springboard sunset flip for a near fall.
Christian stuns him with a punch before going to the second rope. Del Rio avoids a missile dropkick and goes for a Cross Arm Breaker, but Christian rolls through. Christian boots him in the face before connecting with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Christian gets the crowd ready for a spear, but Del Rio gets out of the ring to avoid it. Christian follows him outside, and Del Rio goes back in. Del Rio tries to attack as Christian reenters the ring, but he avoids it. Christian uppercuts him and goes to the top rope. Del Rio then catches him with an enzuigiri off the top rope for a near fall. Del Rio cannot believe it.
Del Rio pulls his kneepad down as he waits for Christian to get up. Christian blocks a kick and goes for the Killswitch, but Del Rio pushes him off. Del Rio sidesteps Christian as he charges him, and he sends him into the ring post shoulder first. Del Rio goes to the second rope, grabs the arm, and executes a Cross Arm Breaker. Christian tries to hold his hands to relieve the pressure, but Del Rio soon gets it fully applied. Christian has no choice but to tap out.

Alberto Del Rio thanks all the Latinos. Del Rio says he knows how the Mexicans and Latinos look up to him. Del Rio says he knows how they all want to be the next Alberto Del Rio, but there is only one. You cannot be like him because they're peasants. Del Rio tells them to relax. That doesn't mean that just because they are the son or daughter of a peasant that they have to be a peasant. They can be something better. Just follow the leader to greatness - the great Alberto Del Rio.
Ricardo Rodriguez comes out to the stage sarcastically saying Del Rio's last name. Rodriguez tells Del Rio to stop. He says he has a little bit of a problem. Del Rio said the crowd can follow him to greatness, but Rodriguez doesn't agree. Rodriguez says the man who is with him exemplifies greatness every single night every opportunity he gets. He doesn't look down on people - he stands up for them: Rob Van Dam!
RVD makes his way to the ring to a great reception. Christian takes Del Rio out with a missile dropkick, and RVD connects with the Rolling Thunder. Del Rio quickly gets out of the ring holding his ribs. Rodriguez holds the World Heavyweight Championship as RVD does his taunt. They then hold the championship together.
A replay is aired of what happened earlier in the night between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. Bryan will face Wade Barrett in a Steel Cage match in the main event.

3MB vs. Big Show and Mark Henry
Big Show will start out against Heath Slater. Big Show pushes Slater against the ropes and chops the chest before bouncing him head first off the turnbuckle. Mark Henry is tagged in, and he grabs Slater by the neck. Slater fights him off and hits the ropes, but Henry mauls him with a clothesline. Henry throws him to the corner before hitting a big boot. Henry stands over him and goes for a seated senton, but Slater moves. Drew McIntyre is tagged in, and he punches away at Henry. Jinder Mahal is then tagged in, and he kicks away at Henry. Mahal punches and talks trash before tagging Slater back in. Slater kicks him in the head a few times before taunting the crowd. Slater hits some jabs before hitting the ropes. Henry then turns him inside out with a shoulder tackle.
Big Show and McIntyre are tagged in. Big Show hits a pair of clotheslines before sending him to the corner for a back body drop. Big Show then kicks Mahal off the apron. Big Show hits a running butt bump on McIntyre before hitting a shoulder tackle. Big Show signals for his finisher, and he Chokeslams McIntyre. Slater breaks it up. Big Show grabs him by the throat and pushes him into Henry, who gives him the World's Strongest Slam. Big Show then shoves Mahal over the top rope by the throat. Big Show balls his fist up, and he drops McIntyre with the Knockout Punch for the win.

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins appear on the screen. Reigns says they told Big Show and Mark Henry to step up, and they go and beat up 3MB. Maybe they didn't understand them. Rollins says Big Show didn't get the message on Monday night. He's shocked he got back up after they dropped him from the sky. Rollins says he glad he did because they'll have a lot of fun knocking him back down again. The clock is ticking on Big Show's time here. Reigns tells Henry to wake up because he's been floating around for a decade and a half. Reigns says Henry expects them to respect him, but they never will. Rollins says that two former champions have come together to form one of the most imposing teams in WWE history. The problem with the two of them wanting a shot at the Tag Team Titles is that they're just better than them. Rollins says a new era has dawned, and the two of them have got to go. Rollins tells them to believe that, and Reigns screams to believe in The Shield.
The Prime Time Players are seen doing their "Millions of Dollars" dance backstage. Darren Young will face Antonio Cesaro, next.

Zeb Colter is in the ring with Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro. Colter asks the crowd to put their hands over their hearts and say, "We the people."

Charles Robinson, my favorite referee of all time, is the official for this match. Cesaro immediately takes him down with a dropkick. Cesaro punches away at him and says, "We the people!" Cesaro head-butts him in the corner before talking some trash. Cesaro deadlifts him for a gutwrench suplex. Cesaro talks more trash, and Young hits him with a head-butt to the midsection. Cesaro knees him in the midsection and sends him to the corner hard. Cesaro runs into Young's boot, but he soon comes back with a chin lock. Young fights up, but Cesaro takes him down with a short-arm clothesline. Cesaro talks some trash and slaps him in the face. Cesaro hits the ropes, and Young floors him with a clothesline.
Young punches away at him a few times before sending him to the corner. Young then takes him down with a belly-to-belly suplex. Young tries to fire up the crowd before hitting a corner clothesline. Young follows up with a northern lights suplex for a two count. Young gets Cesaro on his shoulders, and Jack Swagger distracts him by getting on the apron. Titus O'Neil pulls him off as Cesaro rolls Young up for a near fall. Young hot shots him on the top rope before hitting the Gut Check for the win.

Ryback is seen drinking water backstage when a man stops him and asks him for an autograph for his son. Ryback asks what the kid's name is, and the father tells him it is Billy. Ryback says that's a stupid name before saying he was kidding. Ryback signs a poster and gives it to him. The man asks which one Ryback is as he doesn't watch wrestling. Only his son does. The man asks what his name is despite it being on Ryback's jacket. Ryback is mad that the man doesn't know who he is so he tears up the poster and tells him to tell his kid that his dad is a scrawny, pencil-neck fool. The man walks away in fear.
CM Punk tweeted out that he accepts Curtis Axel's challenge for a match on Monday Night RAW.

Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett
The crowd chants for Bryan as the bell rings. They lock up, and Barrett powers him to the corner before hitting some punches. Bryan turns him in the corner before kicking and punching away at him. Bryan sends him into the ropes, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. Barrett tries to send him into the cage, but Bryan blocks it. Bryan punches him and puts him in the corner before hitting some stiff kicks to the chest. Bryan goes to the second rope and hits some punches. Barrett pushes him off and catches him charging with a boot. Barrett kicks him in the head before punching away at him. Barrett puts him on his shoulder and sends him like a lawn dart into the side of the cage for a near fall.
Barrett goes for a back suplex, but Bryan flips through. Barrett charges, but Bryan pulls the top rope down. Barrett flies into the cage and falls to the apron. Bryan viciously kicks and punches away at him in the corner. Barrett reverses a whip to the corner, but Bryan backflips over him and hits the ropes. Barrett quickly takes him down with the Winds of Change for a near fall.

We come back from the break to see Barrett kneeing Bryan in the head before big booting him into the cage. Bryan collapses on the apron. Barrett drags him away from the ropes and covers him for a near fall. Barrett drags him to the ropes, but Bryan bounces his face off the steel cage a few times. Bryan hits the ropes and dropkicks him into the cage. Bryan hits the ropes again and dropkicks him again in to the cage. Barrett collapses to the apron, and Bryan dropkicks him a third time into the cage. The crowd is chanting, "YES!" Bryan goes to climb out of the cage, but Barrett cuts him off. Bryan kicks him away and hits a missile dropkick off the top rope for a near fall.
The crowd continues to chant "YES" as Bryan kicks Barrett in the chest a bunch of times. Barrett ducks a big kick to the head and sends him face first into the cage. Barrett then turns Bryan inside out with a clothesline for a near fall. Barrett goes for The Wasteland, but Bryan grabs onto the cage. Bryan gets on the top rope and kicks Barrett hard in the face. Barrett quickly comes back and puts Bryan on his shoulders for the electric chair drop. Barrett covers for a near fall.
Both men are down. Barrett is first to his feet, and he begins to scale the cage. Bryan soon gets up and stops him before he can go over the top. They stand on the top rope, and Bryan tries for a super German suplex. Barrett hangs on and elbows Bryan off. Barrett gets a leg over the top of the cage when Bryan cuts him off. Bryan clubs away at him before pulling him back down. Bryan kicks away at him on the top rope before smashing his face off the top of the cage. Bryan then grabs him and powerbombs him off the top rope! Bryan leads the crowd in a "YES" chant before hitting a big running knee to the face for the win!

Daniel Bryan jumps all around ringside doing the "YES" taunt. All of a sudden, Randy Orton comes out from under the ring, and he hits Bryan with an RKO outside the ring! Orton raises his WWE Championship up as he stands over Bryan to end the show.
